The oldest museum institution in the Czech Republic (founded in 1818). The Neo-Renaissance building was built in 1885-1890 and has numerous statues and paintings (Pantheon). This building accommodates the main permanent expositions: the zoological, paleontological, historical, archeological, mineralogical and numismatic.
